[캘리포니아=AP/KNS] 미국 캘리포니아의 한 조용한 해변 마을에 위치한 미용실에서 총기 난사 사건이 발생해 6명이 사망하고 3명이 부상을 당했다고 관계 당국이 전했다.

지금까지 6명의 사망자가 확인되었으며 부상을 입은 3명은 즉시 병원으로 이송되었으나 목숨이 위태로운 상황이라고 스티브 볼스 경사는 AP 통신과의 인터뷰 중 밝혔다.

경찰은 사고 현장에서 약 1킬로미터 떨어진 곳에서 남성 한 명을 체포했으며 그와 함께 다수의 무기를 압수했으나 범행 동기는 아직 알려지지 않았다고 전했다.

SEAL BEACH, Calif. (AP) -- Six people were killed and three were wounded Wednesday in a shooting at a hair salon in a normally sedate Southern California beach community, authorities said.

The six deaths were confirmed and the other three victims were taken to a hospital in critical condition, police Sgt. Steve Bowles told The Associated Press.

Police arrested a man in a traffic stop a half-mile 　　from the shooting scene and he was taken into custody, Bowles told KCAL-TV. He added that multiple weapons were seized. The motive was unknown, he said.
