[휴스턴=신화통신/] 1일(화) 미국 루이지애나 주의 뉴올리언스에서 총격 사고가 4건 발생했는데 2명이 사망하고 13명이 중경상을 입었다고 현지 언론이 보도했다.

첫 번째 총성은 알려진 대로 밤 12시 정각에 뉴올리언스의 프랑스 구역 관광특구인 부르봉가의 한 술집 밖에서 발생했다. 25세의 한 남자가 총을 맞아 사망했고 다른 7명이 이 사고로 부상을 당했다고 CNN이 보도했다.

“분명한 것은 한 사람 혹은 두 사람이 사격을 했고 혹은 서로 간에 사격을 마주 했거나 인데 그 원인은 알려지지 않은 채로 8명이 사격을 당했다”라고 뉴올리언스 경찰이 발표문에서 밝혔다.

사격의 동기는 확인된 것이 없다고 경찰이 말했다. 부상자들은 생명에는 위협이 없다. 두 번째 사격은 새벽 1시 45분경 발생했다. 1일(화)에 19세 된 남자한명이 죽고 다른 3명이 부상을 입었다.

그 이후 두 번의 사격이 더 있었는데 아침에 두 개의 또 다른 장소에서 발생했다고 CNN이 게리 플로트 경찰 대변인의 발표를 인용해 보도했다. 지금까지 한 명이 그 사격과 관련해서 구금중이다.

네 번에 걸쳐 발생한 총격 사고들이 서로 연관된 것은 아니라고 경찰은 말했다.

HOUSTON, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and 13 others injured in four separate shootings early Tuesday in New Orealans in the U.S. state of Louisianna, according to U.S. media reports. The first shooting reportedly took place just midnight outside a nightclub on Bourbon Street, a tourist hot spot in the city's French Quarter. A 25-year-old man was shot dead and seven other people were injured in the incident, CNN reported.

"Apparently one or two people were shooting or shooting at each other for reasons unknown when eight people were struck by the gunfire," New Orleans police said in a statement.

The motive for the shooting was not known, police said. The injuries were not life-threatening.

The second shooting happened about 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, leaving a 19-year-old man dead and three others injuries.

Two other shootings occurred in two different places later in the morning, wounding three people, CNN quoted police spokesman Garry Flot as reporting.

So far one arrest was made in connection with one of the shootings, according to police.

All the shootings were not related, police said.
